| 133159 | www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/167914420/leah-horst The 1910 US Census for Ludwig and Elizabeth (Kniss) Horst indicates that Elizabeth had 5 births at this census and three were still living. In Martha G. (Horst) Ellermeier's obituary, she indicates she had a sister that died as a baby. The Horst babies were being born during the late 1890's until 1916. There is a gap in living children between 1901 and 1908 that fits in the before 1910 slot where Leah and her unknown deceased baby sibling were born and died. This is also the era when Ludwig's family was attending the Jesser Sod Church with the Jesser Sod Church Cemetery adjacent. A search of area cemeteries do not come up with any clues for these babies so an assumption is made here that these babies were buried in this cemetery. All graves in this cemetery are unmarked and current owners are not able to pin point the cemetery. George Jesser sold this farm in 1919 and it appears the cemetery was not maintained shortly after that date. | Horst, Leah (I184271)

| 133185 | www.findagrave.com: www.findagrave.com/memorial/170254967/betty-ruth-fratzke Source: Lodi News-Sentinel Sept 20, 2016 Daughter of Deforrest Wood and Clarace Tanner, Betty Wood married Neil W. Preszler on Jan 9 1948 in Lodi, San Joaquin Co., California. Betty Ruth Fratzke passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 2, 2016, at the age of 88. Betty's spirit and heart remained courageously steady until her final peaceful moments surrounded by her three beloved children. Betty was born in Borger, Texas, on May 10, 1928, to Deforest and Katie Wood. Betty married Neil William Preszler on January 9, 1948. He was a vineyardist, the son of William and Tena Preszler. They settled in Lodi and had three children. Neil died on May 15, 1963. After Neil passed away, Betty married Ed Fratzke, a building contractor, who also preceded her in death. Betty was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to prepare meals and bake for her family, and her delicious cookies were especially prized by her grandchildren. Betty also loved golf; she played for many years, and continued to avidly follow the game on television. She also enjoyed watercolor painting, crocheting, and trying out new recipes from her Barefoot Contessa cookbooks. But most of all she adored spending time with her family. She looked forward to frequent family visits and phone calls, and especially to hosting her annual Christmas Eve potato soup and crab dinners. She opened her home and her heart with unconditional love to them all. There are not adequate words to accurately describe the depth of how dearly Betty will be missed. She is survived by her three children, grandchildren and five great grandchildren. | Wood, Betty Ruth (I209589)
