Kathleen Kotuba Zimpleman, 40, of New Cumberland, PA, formerly of Ellwood City, entered the gates of Heaven on Friday April 8, 2016.
Kathleen Louise was born on May 29, 1975. She was the youngest of eight children born to Kathryn Louise Kotuba and the late John T. Kotuba.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, David Zimpleman; her son, Dustin, and daughter, Kadee; her mother, Kathryn Louise; her siblings, Mary, Maria, Rose, Alex, John (wife, Bridget), and Walter (wife, Megan); her nephews, Kenny, Brent, Jakob and Jared; her nieces, Jessica, Gabrielle, Nikita and Kiera; mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Bill Zimpleman; brother-in-law, Tom Zimpleman, and aunt and uncle, Pauline and Francis Hoopes.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her father, John T. Kotuba; brother, Thomas Kotuba; sister, Faith Kotuba; niece, Charity Flecher, and brother-in-law, Scott Newton.
Kathleen was a loving and compassionate person who easily forgave and loved tremendously. She passed those gifts on to her children. Kathleen had a great passion for animals and their welfare.

Eugene M. Wahl, 76, Bismarck, died Dec. 19, 1998, in the Underwood nursing home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. David Swonger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Bismarck Funeral Home, and will continue one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
Eugene was born March 19, 1922, in McClusky, the son of Carl and Lydia (Rosenau) Wahl. He married Mary Baron on March 19, 1948, in McClusky and later moved to Bismarck. Mary died in 1991. Eugene worked at Big River Oil, Anderson Guthrie Carlson Contractors and Bailey Construction up until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing and all outdoor activities. He was active in his church choir, Boy Scouts, University of Mary ""M'' Club, and a volunteer usher at the Civic Center. Eugene was a member of Bismarck Elks Club and United Commercial Travelers.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Jeff Hammel, Bismarck; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Daryl and Corgene Wahl, Bismarck, Kenneth Wahl and Kaye Tenderholt, Williston, and Clark and Brenda Wahl, Bismarck; his grandchildren, Torrey, Todd, Tommy, Tucker and Amber Wahl, and Heather and Terra Hammel; his great-grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Kelsie and Kylie Wahl; one sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Kenneth Schauble, San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Wesley Wahl, Redondo Beach, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; and one sister.

William "Bill" Adam, 62, of Ravenna died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Rod Pruss will officiate.
Mr. Adam was born on Feb. 2, 1938, south of Ravenna to James and Katherine (Chramosta) Adam. He graduated from Ravenna High School in 1956.
He married Ona Mae Prochaska on May 3, 1960, at St. Wenceslaus. The couple lived south of Ravenna on the family home place.
Mr. Adam worked at New Holland in Grand Island for 30 years.
He was a member of the Czech Trio and many other local bands. He received the FFA Band Award in 1957 in Kansas City. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Grand Island Eagles Club and the Local 777 Musicians Union.
Survivors include his wife; one son, William James Adam of Gibbon; and one daughter, Judeen (Mrs. Andy) Terrey of Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by one brother and an infant sister.

Some information on this person is speculative since no actual birth or death information has been found. Info on death can only be noted as being before June 1738. It MAY be likely that it could be closer to 1736/37 timeframe. His actual cemetery site is unknown, but actively pursuing the issue.
Philbert Wright, Sr. was likely born in England. NO RECORD OF [AND NOTHING KNOWN TO DATE] HIS PARENTS OR EXACTLY WHERE OR WHEN HE WAS BORN. What IS known is that he married into an old English family - the Becraft's.
A few records are found for him as follows:
16 May 1709 Maryland - he is mentioned in the estate of one Matthew Mockbee. No reason stated as to why he was mentioned.
3 Dec 1712 - according to church records, he married Esther Becraft 3 Dec 1712 at Queen Anne's Parish, Prince George's County, MD.

17 Jul 1698 - christening record - she was about 3 years of age at that time. Her parents were Peter Becraft [died 1716] and Rebecka [surname unknown; died 1717] Pr. George's County, MD.
3 Dec 1712 - marriage to Philbert Wright at Queen Ann's Parish, Prince George's County, MD - Church records.
14 Nov 1717 Rebecka Becraft's [her mother] estate inventory. "The above appraisment is allowed of & by us Signed Abram (A) Becraft [his mark], Esther (E) Wright [her mark]" [exactly as shown on document.]
NOTE:
Her name is written slightly backward slanted; this may be a distinctive family trait or she may have been left-handed. Son, Richard Wright, Sr. witnessed a will in 1742 and ultimately signed his own will the same way.

Horace W. Butts, 96, passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018.
Born March 5, 1921, in Fort Worth to Oliver J. and Marie Ward Butts.
Horace graduated from Central High School and Texas Tech. After graduation, he worked in the family business, O. J. Butts Plumbing Company, until the early 80's. He was a Registered Professional Engineer, president of the Tarrant County P.H.C. Contractors Association, and president of the Fort Worth Executives Association. Family was important to Horace. He appreciated his time with them and relating stories of Fort Worth history.
Horace was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Mary Alice.
SURVIVORS: Children, Teresa Miller (Tom), Dennis Butts (Sherry); grandchildren, Jason Miller (Rachael), Caitlin Eckel (Malcolm), Christopher Butts (Kelly), Ryan Butts (Ashley); great grandchildren, Ezra, Phaedra, Sylvie, Reagan and Rylee; and brother, O. J. Butts Jr. (Vivian); nephews and nieces.

Dean Zimbelman was born on April 27, 1938 in Maben, West Virginia to Fred and Martha (Irick) Walker. She passed away peacefully at her home May 27, 2016 in Nixa, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ronald Zimbelman after thirty seven years of marriage.
Survivors include two daughters Debbie (Larry) Burns and Susan (Tom) Dunst and one son Kent Hubert, four grandchildren, Jeremy Haney, Justin Burns, Kyler and Kolten Hubert, six great grandchildren, Zachary Haney, Nathaniel Haney, Jillian Burns, Jude Burns, Kayleigh Johnson and Kaden Hubert.
Dean worked for the Air National Guard as a Technical Order Specialist and previously worked in accounting for several hotels, but was most recently a homemaker. She loved to flower garden.
Dean was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she was a greeter before her illness.
Burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl Eckert, 86, Leoti, formerly of Topeka, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, at a Leoti hospital after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Eckert was a secretary at Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Topeka for many years. She retired in 1965.
She was born Sept. 24, 1900, at Denison, the daughter of S. Milligan and Florence McConnell Chestnut. She lived in Leoti since 1981.
Mrs. Eckert was a member of First United Methodist Church and Beulah Chapter No. 34 of the Order of Eastern Star, both in Topeka.
She married John R. Eckert on Jan. 6, 1926, in Topeka. He died Oct. 1, 1952.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Zimbelman, Leoti; a sister, Mrs. Helen Anderson, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Mac Chestnut and Robert Chestnut, both of Tulsa, Okla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Denison Cemetery. Mrs. Eckert will lie in state from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. today at Price and Son Funeral Home in Leoti. Memorial contributions may be made to Leoti Emergency Medical Technicians fund in care of the funeral home.

Virginia L. Clayton, 81, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at a local hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present at 6 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Virginia was born on July 27, 1933. in Ocheyedan, Iowa, to Raymond and Faith (Gleason) Lintner. Her early education was at a country school outside Ocheyedan, and she graduated from Ocheyedan High School. Virginia attended Morningside College from 1951 until 1952, when she entered the nursing program at Methodist Hospital of Nursing, from which she graduated as a registered nurse on Sept. 9, 1955.
Virginia married Clifford C. Clayton on Jan. 25, 1957, in Sioux City. She worked at local hospitals and area nursing homes before working for Dr. Ashmore in Sioux City. Virginia retired from nursing while working at Mid-Step Services in 1998.
She enjoyed reading, playing cards, gardening, fishing, and traveling. Virginia loved music and played piano at various nursing facilities around Siouxland. She volunteered at Hospice of Siouxland and P.A.C.E. but found her greatest joy and pride in spending time with family, and specifically her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud member of First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed membership in various groups associated with the church over the years.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Cindy Thoms and her husband, Roy, of Le Mars, Iowa, Candy Hill and her husband, Steven, of Sioux City, and Carol Mairose and her husband, Dave, of Le Mars, son, Curtis Clayton and his wife, Julie, of Sioux City; sister, Iris Pauling of Paullina, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford, in 2001; and an infant sister, Marie Lintner.
