Enterprise, UT:
Lyman Emery Huntsman, a devoted husband, first to Nancy K. Shepherd of 25 years and then to Marie Matheson Huntsman of 25 years and father of 12 children, 38 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren passed away November 1, 2012 at the age of 71 from brain cancer at his home in Enterprise, Utah, surrounded by his family.
Lyman was raised in Enterprise, Utah and graduated from Enterprise High School class of 59, where he served as student body president. He attended BYU for a year (staying a "True Cougar Fan" all of his life) before coming back home to Enterprise, Utah to start raising a family. Lyman is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings; High Council, Ward and Stake Financial Clerk, but teaching was his favorite calling. He served on the Washington County School Foundation Board and also was a board member and president for Dixie Escalante Power Company. He was a farmer and a business man owning his own farm, ranch, trucking company and pellet plant, but farming and ranching were Lyman's passion and livelihood. It was on the farm that he taught his children how to work and see a job through to the end. Many of life's lessons were taught out on the farm. Lyman loved to get out on a dirt road and just see where it would take him.
Lyman is survived by his wife Marie Mathesen Huntsman, children: Karen H. Woods (Colin), Kelly H. Derrick (Mark), Lanni H. Graf (Jonathan), Pamela H. Mahler (William), Wade Huntsman (Angel), Brian Huntsman (Jessie), Lara H. Brown (Russ), Shannon H. Richmond (Bret), David Huntsman (Megan), Jenny H. Pickering (Matt), Celisa H. Zimbelman (Aaron), Allen Huntsman, father Leland Huntsman (age 103), sisters: MaryAnn Barlow, Kay Schmutz, Lori Huntsman, and brother Nick Huntsman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 80 South Center Street, Enterprise, Utah. Visitations will be held on Sunday, November 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, UT and on Monday, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services at the Stake Center in Enterprise.

It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Ronald Ryan Sr., known to his friends and family as Mick, announces his passing after a long illness at his home on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the age of 67 years. Mick will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends and co-workers. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years. Mr. Ryan served in the Army, stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. He Also served a tour of duty in Korea from January 1964 to January 1966. His passion for building Street Rod Cars won him awards and fun with friends and family. He was the President of the Bad Attitude Car Club and also a member of the Burnouts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Wayne Woodrow Ryan; mother, Vivian Virginia Mittleider; his infant grandson, Zachary Ryan and son, Wayne Ronald Ryan Jr. He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Kathleen Hobby of Stockton, CA. His daughter, Tisha Lorraine Ryan and son-in-law, Matthew, both of Las Vegas NV. He is also survived by his sister, Bette Grande (Frank) of Tracy, CA; three brothers, Edward David Ryan (Geri) of Stockton, CA., Gary Ryan (Annette) of Stockton, CA, Jerry Ryan (Renee) of Tracy, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also a Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Service on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 1200 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. Visitation held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 1200 p.m. 700 p.m. Final Resting Place at Cherokee Memorial Park Harney Lane at Highway 99, Lodi, CA.

Alice Vipperman, 86, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown.
Alice Kreil was born May 7, 1926 in Gackle, North Dakota, the daughter of Reinhold and Christina (Ruff) Kreil. She grew up and attended school in Gackle, then one year of high school in Eldridge. She worked for Rev. McCoy as a housekeeper for two years. Alice was employed at the S&L Department store for five years. She got married in 1945 to Harold. Alice moved to Portland, Ore., where they divorced. Alice moved to California and was employed as a housekeeper for various families. She married Wiley Vipperman on June 30, 1976 in Elko, Nevada. They moved to Idaho until Wiley passed away in 1995. In 2000, Alice moved back to Jamestown to be with the rest of the family. She moved into Hi-Acres Manor Nursing home in October 2007. Alice enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bingo and volunteer work as a senior citizen.
Alice is survived by a daughter, Carol Jarmain of Seattle, WA; one step-son, Wiley, Jr. (Bonnie) Vipperman, Yuba City, CA; two sisters, Lorraine (Allan) Vanderberg and Viona Orr, both of Jamestown; one step-grandson, Aaron Vipperman of Chico, CA; and one sister-in-law, Joann Kreil.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter, Kay West; one sister, Alvina Feitzek; and seven brothers, Alvin, Alden, Alroy, Rueben, Jack, Oscar and Wilbert.

George Johnson Wright is the son of James Benjamin Wright and his 2nd wife...Mary Margaret Myers Miller. George was born in Indiana and married Jane Melton on 6 Mar 1856 (probably) Monroe Co., IN. They had the following children:
James Harvey; Napoleon Bonapart; Lewis Edward; Mary Ida; Martin Luther; Susan Elizabeth; and John Steven Wright. On 1900 Census it is stated they had seven children but only four were living. George was listed as a junk dealer on Census. His family had the Junk Yard in Taylorville, IL on Walnut St.

Julia A. Baggs, age 83, of Whiting, IA, formerly of Hornick, IA passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, IA.
Julia Augusta was born May 17, 1929, the daughter of Louis A. and Anna M. (Egger) Sulsberger. She graduated from Holly Springs High School in May of 1947.
Julia and Lyle F. Baggs were united in marriage in Sioux City, IA on December 17, 1948. They lived in the town of Hornick, IA for most of their married life. Lyle passed away on November 9, 1991.
Julia enjoyed her family and loved being a homemaker. She was an avid animal lover. Julia also enjoyed sewing and collecting pig items.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Bertrand of Hornick, IA; two grandchildren, Tracy Bertrand (Jason Leaver) of Sioux City, IA, and Tony (Jamie) Bertrand of Hornick, IA; one sister, Irene Smith of Hornick, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle Baggs on November 9, 1991; three brothers, John, Alvin, and Donald; 4 infant children; and a son-in-law, Terrance Bertrand.

Funeral services for Alex Harrison Williams, 84, will be at 10:30 Saturday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
The service will be held at First United Methodist due to scheduling conflicts with First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams died at 3:24 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, in Breckenridge Hospital in Austin.
He was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Kress, the son of Jim William “J.W.” and Carry Elizabeth Zimpleman Williams. He graduated from Kress High School in 1935 and served for five years, from March 1941 to November 1945, with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a master sergeant in the 1045th Army Air Corps.
He attended Wayland Baptist University and graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 1951 and was an avid Texas Tech basketball fan.
He earned his CPA in 1956, was involved in community activities, was a deacon at First Baptist Church, church treasurer, taught a high school boy’s Sunday school class, was a member of Chamber of Commerce, served on the hospital board and served as mayor of Muleshoe from April 1973-1976. He also was a representative of the South Plains Association of Governments.
He moved to Kingsland in 1987 and was involved with Rotary, served as church treasurer at First Baptist Church and was on the hospital board at Llano.
In 1998, he moved to Plainview and was a member of Rotary, Shriners, Scottish Rite and was a Master Mason for 60 years. He was also a member of the Sanctuary Choir at First Baptist Church.
He was a founding partner at Williams, Merriman, predecessor of Williams, Rogers, Lewis, Kaufman, CPAs, and gave funding for the computer lab of the Wayland School of Business.
On Feb. 17, 1945, he married Ruth Bertha Andrew in Plainview.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Don A. Williams of Plainview; two daughters, Marcie A. Warren of Sembury, Conn., and Kathy E. Potter of Roswell, Ga.; a sister, Kleta Fredde of Rogers, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, James, Wayne, J.D. and Robert Williams, and two sisters, Clarice King and Bonnie Belle Phillips, are deceased.

Eldon "Sparky" Kellas of Redmond, died Nov. 27, 2012 at the age of 92. Eldon was born Jan. 24, 1920 to Henry and Elda (Vinson) Kellas in Lafayette. In 1942, he married Mae Adolf. They had three children together, she died in 1997. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Toni) Kellas and Terry Kellas; his daughter, Donna (Tom) Malloy; his brother, Arbie (Vi) Kellas; four grand-children and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Kellas and a sister, Arletta. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church at Rockwood with a committal service to follow at Willamette National Cemetery.
