She grew up north of Gackle and south of Cleveland where she attended country school thru the 8th grade. Marlene worked at City Laundry at Jamestown, ND. Marlene married Markus Schuett January 20, 1959. They moved to Kulm, ND where Marlene worked at the Kulm Café and Murphy's. Marlene married Herbert Rempfer August 7, 1981 at LaMoure, ND. Marlene was a member of the Kulm Baptist Church, Kulm, ND. Her most enjoyable pastime was helping others and her greatest love was her family. Marlene moved to the Gackle Care Center August of 2009 and then moved to the Wishek Home for the Aged February of 2010. Marlene is survived by her daughter, Monica (Russell) Robert, Wahpeton, ND; three grandchildren, Josh Bernhardt, Fargo, ND; Holly Bernhardt, Fargo, ND; Austin Robert, Wahpeton, ND; one soon to be great-grandson; two step-grandchildren, Jon (Kate) Robert, Minot, ND; Erin Robert, Bonneylake, WA; one sister, Gennieve (Maynard) Niskanen, West Fargo, ND; one niece, Nancy Sheridan, Denver, CO; one nephew, Neil Niskanen, Fargo, ND. He attended high school in Keats. He married Helen D. Larabee on Sept. 28, 1940, in Alma. She preceded him in death Dec. 11, 2003. He was a roadmaster for 47 years. Survivors include two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Lee Zimbelman, on April 4, 2008. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time Saturday at Koons Chapel, Goodland; in Goodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain time Friday at the chapel. On April 26, 1947, she married John William Hull in Mankato, KS. She was employed at Sutton State Bank for 25 years. Norma was a member of Hope Reformed Church in Sutton, NE and enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors. His early years were spent on the farm. In infancy he was baptized and received his religious instruction in the Sutton Baptist Church. As a young man he moved to Sutton where he was employed by the Lincoln Telephone Co. During these years he also ran a steam threshing machine and was favorably known over the Sutton territory for his work and ability. The deceased was married to Elizabeth Scheidemann on January 24, 1909. To this union two daughters' Inez, Mrs. Wilfred Fuehrer, who preceded her father in death August 15, 1949 and Laurietta, Mrs. Edwin Fuehrer of Sutton. Going to work for the city light and water department "Bill" as he was known to all devoted 37 yrs of his life to this work. He served the city faithfully and well, being available day or night, regardless of weather conditions and during these years he saw the Sutton light system grow and expand. Following his retirement from the light commissioner job, he was employed in the Griess Clothing Co for a number of years. Mr. Burbach suffered a number of heart attacks in 1953 and from that date on was forced to take things easier. On January 27, 1956 he suffered a stroke and was confined to a wheel chair for the remainder of his life's span. In spite of his condition, he remained cheerful and enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors. Especially did he enjoy the company of his four grandchildren. Another heart attack was suffered a week ago Wednesday night and "Bill" passed away early Thursday morning,June 20, at the age of 76 years,5 months, and 16 days. | Burbach, William (I101408)

Funeral arrangments were incomplete at Mueller Funeral Home in Kennewick. Friends may make contributions for the children at the home. Lyle was the son of Martha Pudwill-Erlenbusch and Emil Erlenbusch Services for Lyle Erwin Erlenbush 45m if A 10th Ave. Kennewick, who died last Friday, will be at 10am Friday in Muellers Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Riess officiating. Burial will be in Desert Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call until 8 p.m. Thursday.
