Winckler 86 of Zillah passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at Hillcrest Manor, Sunnyside. Oscar was born May 25, 1919 in Harold South Dakota to Gottlieb and Christina Winckler. He moved with his family to the Zillah area in 1934 where he began farming. Oscar farmed his whole life, working first with his Dad and brothers and later with his son and son-in-law. He continued to work into his 80's until he retired due to illness. Oscar enjoyed being with his family and especially loved his grandchildren. In later years he and Virginia traveled, spending time wintering in Arizona with Virginia's family. Oscar was a WWII veteran and a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Zillah for 64 years. Oscar is survived by his wife of 48 years Virginia, his daughter Christy and David Ivy, a son Tom and Terri Winckler, 4 grandchildren; Angela and Melissa Ivy, Tanner and Tierra Winckler all of Zillah, 3 brothers Reinhold Winckler and Leonard Winckler both of Zillah, Harold Winckler of Benton City; 2 sister Kathryn Kunnanz of Yakima, Marie Ravine of Zillah, numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and 2 sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2005 at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah. Interment to follow in the Zillah City Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9-5 Thursday (Today), August 4, 2005 at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah. Following the service everyone is invited to Grace Lutheran Church for refreshments and fellowship. Memorial in Oscar's name maybe made to Grace Lutheran Church, Zillah. The family would like to thank Dr. Steve Taylor, Hillcrest Manor and Pastor Mann for their caring services. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. will be in the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. James passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Yankton. James Lee Reich was born on March 19, 1950 in Mobridge to Christian and Christina (Hieb) Reich. He grew up in the Firesteel area and attended elementary school in Firesteel and high school in Timber Lake. While in school he participated in track and basketball graduating from Timber Lake in 1968. Following graduation James helped his father on the farm. He eventually bought the farm and continued farming until his health gave out. He lived in Timber Lake for a short time before moving to Yankton where he has since resided. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing games, visiting friends and gardening. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Violet (Jerome) Deibert of Herreid, Dale (Janice) Reich of Aberdeen, Ella (Roger) Schaeffer of Alexandria, LA, Mary Lou (David) Kraft of Timber Lake and Darold Reich of Kenmare, ND, numerous nieces and nephews, uncle; Art Haefner of Mobridge, and aunt; Esther Bishop of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ervin Reich. Casketbearers are Kevin Reich, Beaman Kraft, Bernie Boysen, Jack Bickel, Timmy Johnson, Alan Johnson. Klostermann, 65, of Dyersville, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, following a short illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with the Rev. Jerry Kopacek officiating, the Rev. Phil Kruse as homilist and Monsignor Drake Shafer as lector. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 5 p.m., and a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 p.m. He served in the Army in 1958 for six months active duty, serving five years in the reserves. He was discharged in 1963. He was born on May 24, 1939, in Petersburg, son of Everett C. and Bernice F. (Kruse) Klostermann. He attended Ss. Peter & Paul School, Petersburg. He married Esther L. Lake, of Luxemburg, on Sept. 14, 1959, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Luxemburg. He purchased the Petersburg Creamery of Petersburg Spur, and together they started Floyd's Feed Store in 1960. Upon retirement, they sold the business to two sons, and it's now known as Klostermann Bros. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, St. Francis Xavier School Board, Iowa Grain and Feed Board, United Suppliers, Independent Dealer Organization Board, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Dubourg Assembly and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1734. He served on the Dyersville City Council, was a Beckman Booster and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Floyd enjoyed playing cards, visiting with people and watching his grandchildren participate in sports activities. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Denver Broncos and the Beckman Blazer baseball team. Surviving are his wife, Esther; a daughter, Krystal (Scott) Resetich, of Sugar Grove, Ill.; four sons, Brad Klostermann, of Petersburg, Bruce (Nancy) Klostermann, of Dubuque, Bryon (Dana) Klostermann, of Davenport, and Barry (Lisa) Klostermann, of Dyersville; nine grandchildren, Zach, Erin, Alyssa, Paige, Ben, Brooke, Blair, Abbey and baby Klostermann, due later this year; a sister, Mary Kay (Gerald) Westhoff, of New Vienna; a brother, Donald (Cheryl) Klostermann, of Dyersville; his in-laws, Alice Mae (Eddie) Schieltz and Grace (Jerry) Schieltz, both of Luxemburg, Wilma Lake, of Dyersville, Joann Besler, of Hopkinton, Gladys (Bob) Elgin, of Bankston, and Edward Lake, of Dubuque; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to being a homemaker and raising their two children, she helped her husband on the farm. Hilda enjoyed crocheting. There were five or six couples that they frequently got together with, fishing and playing cards. She was a member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Sutton, and was selected as the Sutton Community Home's Resident of the Month for May, 2004.
