Wetonka - The funeral service for Norman H. Rauscher, 58, of Wetonka, is 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 624 N. Jay Street, Aberdeen. Rev. John Farden and Rev. Jais Tinglund will lead the worship service. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Ipswich City Cemetery. Visitation is Noon to 7 p.m. today at Gramm-Hein Funeral Home, US Highway 12, Ipswich and one hour prior to the service at the church, Thursday. Norman Henry Rauscher was born April 20, 1947, to Gerhardt and Helen (Iszler) Rauscher at Elgin, N.D. He was raised on a farm there and attended school in Elgin. In 1965 the family moved to a farm north of Ipswich. Norman joined his family there until entering the U.S. Army in February of 1966. He was stationed at Ft. Knox in Kentucky until his honorable discharge from service in February 1969. He returned home to the family farm and worked for various businesses and farmers in the Ipswich area. Norman married Dianna Schuck on Sept. 23, 1972, at Aberdeen, S.D. They made there home on a farm near Wetonka, S.D. Norman's passion for farming led him to successfully expand the farm over the years. He was dedicated to the success of his farm and his family as he continued to play an active role in the farming operation even after poor health set in. Mr. Rauscher died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, at the V.A. Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Thankful for having shared in his life are his wife, Dianna, of Wetonka; two sons, Steve Rauscher of Wetonka and Mark (Kayla) Rauscher of Lynnwood, Wash.; six brothers, Melvin (Margie) Rauscher of Selby, Vernon (Karen) Rauscher of Moundsview, Minn., Duane (Judi) Rauscher of Dickinson, N.D., Paul (Darlene) Rauscher of Roxboro, N.C., Fred (Linda) Rauscher of Aberdeen, and Herman Rauscher of Spearfish, S.D.; two sisters, Bernice Herried of Ortonville, Minn., and Cheryl (Roy) Chamberlain of Douglas, Wyo. Norman's parents preceded him in death. Casketbearers will be his brothers and his nephew Murray Rauscher. Gramm-Hein Funeral Home of Ipswich is in honored to serve the Rauscher family.

George Philipp Hust was born at Rohrbach, South Russia, April 27, 1831, and died at his home in Sutton, Nebr., March 31, 1914, aged 83 years, 11 months and 3 days. In 1851 he was united in wedlock with Elizabeth Woehl. To this union 11 children were born, 2 sons and 9 daughters, three of the children preceding him in death. The family came to American in 1877, and settled 5 miles north of Sutton. For the past 21 years he has made his home in the city of Sutton. He leaves to mourn his departure, an aged wife, 6 daughters, 1 son, 73 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren.
The report that Mr. and Mrs. Hust have been neglected by their children in their old age, illness and helplessness is false, as is testified by the neighbors and close friends. The children have at all times taken an active interest in the welfare of their parents, and have done everything in their power to provide for their comfort and make their last years pleasant. The funeral was held by Rev. Hoffert on April 3rd and interment made in the church cemetery.
We wish to thank the many kind-hearted friends who were very helpful by their visits and sympathy, during the illness and death of our husband and father, George Philipp Hust.

She died "at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elisabeth Huber.. Grandma Hust was born at Rohrbach, South Russia, March 21, 1830.. To this family 11 children were born, but three died in their infancy and one daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Christian Griess), died at Sutton in 1912. The remaining children are as follows: Mrs. Margarethe Ackermann, Mrs. Anna Marie Klein, Jacob Hust, residing at Imperial, Nebr.; Mrs. Eva Fehr, Mrs. Christine Rauscher, Mrs. Madgalene Ochsner, Mrs. Elisabeth Huber; all the daughters living at Sutton or on nearby farms. Mrs. Elizabeth Hust, nee Woehl, died Wednesday morning at six o'clock, Dec. 1 1926, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elisabeth Huber, north of Sutton, Ne. She had attained the age of 96 years, 8 months and 9 days. The funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church. Rev R. Birk preached upon the text of Ps. 71, 17:18. Grandma Hust was born at Rohrbach, South Russia, March 21, 1830. She was the widow of Philipp Hust, who died at Sutton in 1914 and whom she married 64 years ago.
In the year 1877 the Hust family came to America and settled here at Sutton on a farm. They were one of the early pioneers that broke the sod almost 50 years ago. To this family 11 children were born, but 3 died in infancy and one daughter, Barbara Hust Griess, died at Sutton in 1912. The remaining children are as follows: Mrs. Margaretha Ackermann, Mrs. Anna Marie Klein, Jacob Hust, Mrs. Eva Fehr, Mrs. Christina Rauscher, Mrs. Magdalene Ochsner, Mrs. Elisabeth Huber; all the daughters living at Sutton or on nearby farms. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an verwenden wir das „b“, da die von LaVern Huber am 14. Mai 1991 erhaltene Geburtsurkunde es als Zimbelmann auswies. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass „b“ und „p“ in Übersetzungen austauschbar sind.
Uwe Zimbelman schickte Anna Huwa eine Ahnentafel und fügt als Peters Vater Jacob geb. hinzu. 25. April 1766 und sein Vater als Jacob, geboren um 1726.
Stumps „Die Auswanderung von Deutschland nach Russland in den Jahren 1763 bis 1862“, gedruckt in Deutschland von der AHSGR, stammten Peter Zimbelman 17 und seine Frau Anna 16 aus Münchhausen/Weißenburg-Elsass, aufgeführt in der Rohrbach-Volkszählung von 1816, Nr. 3 S. 788. Rohrbach wurde 1809 gegründet, als sie dort ankamen und ursprüngliche Kolonisten waren.

NAME: Die Tatsache, dass im offiziellen Passantrag Jakob-Karl Zimbelmann aufgeführt ist, bestärkt die Annahme, dass es nur einen Zimbelman gab, der der ursprüngliche Kolonist war. Es scheint, dass er in offiziellen Dokumenten möglicherweise Jakob genannt hat und im Alltag möglicherweise als Karl bekannt war.
