LaVonne M. "Vonnie" Braunberger, 78, Fargo formerly Christine, North Dakota passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo.
LaVonne was born November 25, 1934 in Fargo, North Dakota to Hilbert and Lucille (Keller) Lahren. She attended school in Fargo before marrying the love of her life Clarence Braunberger on June 1, 1951. They made their home in Fargo where she was partner with her husband at Clarence's Louver and Body Shop.
Vonnie's home was always welcoming and provided a loving environment for all who came through the door, especially all of the children she babysat over the years.
Vonnie and Clarence were longtime members of the local Horseless Carriage Club of America. She took joy in participating in her children's activities while they were growing up, including Campfire Girls, Cub Scouts and Bell Choir. Among many things, she especially enjoyed knitting and crocheting and passed that skill onto her family.
Vonnie is survived by her mother; Dorothy Lahren, Fargo, children; Joy Cossette, Fargo, Wesley (Mary) Braunberger, Fargo, Glenn Braunberger, Christine, daughter-in-law, Debra Braunberger, Fargo, siblings; Janice (Arvid) Moe, Fargo, Cheryl (Joe) Schmit, Carbondale, IL, Jack Lahren, Virginia Beach, VA, Dean Lahren, Minneapolis, MN, Kris (Diane) Lahren, Wassau, WI, sister-in-law, Agnes Detmers, Marque, TX, brother-in-law, Eugene Braunberger, Wickenburg, AZ, grandchildren; Richard and Chad Braunberger, Shane (Jenny) Cossette, Stacy Davis, Bob (Wendy) Cossette, Sarah (Jake) Halvorson, Nicholas and Joseph Braunberger, Katie (Brad) Benton, Ryan and Adam Braunberger and Steph (Kyle) Hohertz and great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, Sadie, Ashley, Kaleb, Lilly, Grace, Alex, Khloe, Zoey and Noah.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Clarence, son Wayne and brother-in-law David.
