James E. Templin Sr., 85, Annville, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. He was the husband of Orpha Books Templin to whom he was married to for 65 years. Born in West Lebanon August 22, 1920, he was the son of the late Ruth Templin Bohr. For 39 years he was employed as a machinist for Lebanon Screw Company. During the war years he and his wife rented rooms to soldiers and their wives from Fort Indiantown Gap. He was a member of Fairland Brethren in Christ Church, Cleona, and sang in the choir. He was a volunteer for Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, and Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg. His hobby was coin collecting and was a member of several coin clubs. He also enjoyed attending coin shows. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son James E. Templin Jr. and wife Joanne Tice Templin of Lancaster; a stepsister Madeline, wife of Glenn Kiskadden of Lebanon; and two grandchildren, Joel Michael Templin and Janessa Jo Templin.
