Mrs. Austin Ritter [c1820-1901] Mrs. Austin Ritter, one of the old residents of this community, died at her home in the Fourth Ward last Saturday night. We are told that Mrs. Ritter was past eighty years of age. There were present at the time of her death three children from abroad. Mrs. A. Warner of Owatonna, Minnesota, Mrs. Fuller of Egan, S.D., and Mr. A. Rolf of Flandreau, S.D. She leaves a husband, Mr. Austin Ritter, also past eighty years of age, to pass the sunset of life's journey without the consoling presence of his helpmate.

Catherine heiratete Rolfe, Samuel B. in 1844.
