LYDIC, aged 45, of Chambersburg, Rt. 6, died Monday morning in the American Oncologic Hospital, Philadelphia, after a long illness. Born October 16th, 1917 in Franklin County, he was the son of Steele Lydic of Greencastle, Rt. 1, and the late Bessie Skiles Lydic. He was a member of the Chambersburg Brethren In Christ Church. He is survived by his father; his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Hawbaker Lydic; two brothers, Paul and Norman Lydic of Greencastle, Rt. 1; one sister, Mrs. Martin Bartola, Greencastle, Rt. 3. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Chambersburg Brethren In Christ Church, with the Rev. Glenn A. Ginder and Bhisop Charlie B. Byers officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg, Friends may call at the Minnich Funeral Home in Greencastle Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. or at the church one hour before the service.
