    Ex-Lodian Hit By Fatal Attack In San Mateo
    Edwin L. Wittmayer, 49, of San Francisco, former Lodi resident, died Tuesday in San Mateo, after suffering a heart attack while at work.
    A native of North Dakota, he has lived in San Francisco for the past 20 years. Before moving to the bay area, he lived in Lodi, and was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. He was a switchman for the railroad for over 20 years.
    Mr. Wittmayer is survived by his wife, Cynthia; and one son, Dennis Dale Wittmayer.
    He was the brother of Ted Wittayer of Lodi; Mrs. Alice Grosz of Los Angeles; Mrs. Viola Fallis of Los Angeles; Mrs. Rachael Olson of North Dakota; and Bill Wittmayer of Helena, Mont. He was the foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Larson, of North Dakota.
    Mr. Wittmayer was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and a member of the Brotherhood of Par Mutual Clerks.

    Edwin heiratete Zimbelmann, Cynthia am 1 Apr 1941. Cynthia (Tochter von Zimbelmann, Edward und Goehring, Bertha) wurde geboren am 10 Jul 1917 in Gregory, Gregory County, South Dakota, USA; gestorben am 28 Nov 1986 in Lodi, San Joaquin County, California, USA; wurde beigesetzt in Lodi Memorial Park and Cemetery, Lodi, San Joaquin County, California, USA.
