Edna M. Fish, 78, eine langjährige Bewohnerin von Quincy, starb am Sonntag, dem 7. Januar 1996, in ihrem Haus.
Sie wurde am 14. März 1917 als Tochter von Adam und Beatrice (Coatney) Zimbelman in Springdale geboren. Sie zog als junges Mädchen mit ihrer Familie nach Quincy und machte 1935 ihren Abschluss an der Quincy High School.
Sie heiratete Harry Fish am 28. Februar 1937 in Ephrata. Sie lebten an verschiedenen Orten, bis sie 1950 nach Quincy zurückkehrten. Ihr Ehemann ging ihr am 2. März 1993 im Tod voraus.
Zu den Überlebenden gehören ein Sohn, Gene, Quincy; eine Schwester, Lucille Gillingham, Spokane; ein Bruder, Milton Zimbelman, Spokane; und ein Enkelkind.

Edna heiratete Fish, Harry Francis am 27 Feb 1937 in Ephrata, Grant County, Washington, USA. Gene Fish was born to Harry and Edna (Zimbelman) Fish on December 5, 1937 in Tacoma, WA. The family moved to Spokane by 1939 where his sister, Sandra was born. The family moved to Quincy in 1950. Gene graduated from Quincy High School in 1956.
Gene joined the U.S. Navy after graduation. Her served for four years and then was in the reserves for several years. He was honorably discharged.
After being discharged from the Navy, Gene went to work for the post office. He was living in Federal Way when he retired after 34 years of service. He returned to Quincy before his mother, Edna’s death.
Gene was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge. He was very proud of his service to the community.
Gene had been living at the Cambridge Assisted Living facility due to health concerns when he passed away on July 23, 2018.
A graveside masonic inurnment will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
