John "Jay" Rittel, 48, of Moline, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at his home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline, with a visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.
Jay was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Moline, the son of Laurence and Lois Kirkham Rittel.
He enjoyed computer programming and also hunting and fishing, especially in Minnesota.
Surviors include his mother, Lois Rittel, Moline. He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Rittel in 1994.
