Former Lodi Girl Dies In Stockton
Jacqueline Valencia Schatz, eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Schatz, formerly of Lodi, passed away in a Stockton hospital early yesterday morning from a spinal meningitis which followed a week's illness with measles.
The family recently moved to Stockton after residing here for a number of years. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother and sister, Lawrence and Cleola Schatz.
Private funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Hugo Baumann, pastor of the German Congretational church, officiating.
