Reuben J. Wagner Sr., 87, Washburn, died Sunday, July 27, 2008, in a Bismarck hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1920, to Henry and Magdalena Wagner near Turtle Lake. He served in the Navy from November 1942 to October 1945, in the Asiatic-Pacific and the North African-Mediterranean-European campaigns of World War II. He married Pearle Holodonick Nov. 14, 1945, in Wilton.
Survivors: sons, Francis Sr., Reuben Jr., both Washburn, Robert, Bismarck, Lee, San Diego; daughter, Ramona Trebilcock, Hermiston, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert, Bismarck, Milton, of Kent, Wash.; sisters, Martha Hancock, Tucson, Ariz., Thelma Wofford, La Mesa, N.M.
