Henry Kitzman, who lives north of Loveland, received word yesterday of the death of his brother, August Kitzman, aged 26, in a hospital in France. The dispatch was very brief but the cause of death was supposedly influenza.
He left Loveland the 27th of April 1918 and sailed for France with the 345th infantry. Before leaving for service in the army, he farmed near Loveland.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kitzman are both living and farming near Goodrich, Colorado. Four brothers, Henry, who lives north of Loveland, Peter and Jacob of Goodrich, and George of Sutton, Nebraska, and three sisters, Mrs. Christina Pfalzgraff of this city, Mrs. Magdalena Ochsner of Sutton, Nebraska, and Mrs. Margaret Ackerman of Sutton, Nebraska, also survive him.
