! Information from McLean County ND Heritage Book pg 269 Emil came to Dakota Teritory in 1902 with his parents. He met his wife Agatha in Scotland, SD and were married in her parents home in 1913. After their marriage they came to ND to live on their farm 8 miles SW of Underwood. They farmed in the Underwood, ND area until 1948 when they moved their farm house into Underwood and retired. Emil's later years were spent in caring for the home and his wife. He served on the Board of Directors of the McLean County Farmers Mutual Insurance Co for 21 years. He passed away at his home of a heart attack.
