The funeral for Bertha Elizabeth Just will be Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Wishek, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Friedens (Peace) Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wishek, ND.
Bertha Elizabeth Wohl daughter of Johanas and Christina (Dockter) Wohl was born October 17, 1919 rural Linton, ND. She grew up and attended rural school. Bertha married Philip Just October 15, 1937 rural Wishek, ND. They farmed 17 miles SW of Wishek, ND. In 1956 they moved to Bismarck and lived there until December of 1968 when Philip died. From 2001 until 2008 Bertha lived in Anoka, MN and Moorhead, MN. Bertha moved to the Strasburg Nursing Home in 2008 and resided there until her death. Bertha enjoyed gardening, sing-alongs, reading the Bible and entertaining her friends. She was a member of the Bismarck Seventh-Day Adventist Church since 1961.
Bertha died Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Strasburg Nursing Home at Strasburg, ND. She was 91 years old.
Bertha is survived by one daughter, Shirline (Gary) Lavelle; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip, parents, five sisters and three brothers.
