Hayden is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. Located in the northern portion of the state, just north of Coeur d'Alene, its population was 13,294 at the 2010 census.
History:
Hayden was once called "Hayden village;" it was incorporated as a city in 1955.
It is often confused as the former location of a 20-acre (8.1 ha) compound for the Aryan Nations, a neo-Nazi white supremacist group, whose compound was in neighboring Hayden Lake.
