Hill City is a city in and the county seat of Graham County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,474.
History:
Hill City was founded in 1876, making it the oldest town in Graham County. It was named for its founder, W. R. Hill. Hill City was located on the Union Pacific Railway.
The first post office in Hill City was established in September 1878. Hill City was designated county seat in 1880.
