OBITUARY
The funeral for Emelia O. Harr, 87, of Eureka, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Eureka with the Rev. Jack Torgersen officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Eureka with Straub's Funeral Home of Eureka in charge of arrangements. She died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1993, at the Eureka Hospital. Emelia O. Oster was born Jan. 7, 1906, to Philip and Katharina (Zeller) Oster in Campbell County.
She married Nathanial D. Harr on April 22, 1928, at Eureka. He died on Jan. 18, 1962. She lived in Eureka and had resided at the Eureka Health Care Center since March 1991. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a past member of the Mary Martha Circle of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include one son, Elial P. Harr of Eureka; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Cooper of Eureka; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Knoepfle of Eureka, Mrs. Frieda O'Kane and Mrs. Earl (Alma) Moore, both of Castro Valley, Calif., and Mrs. Lillian Ernst of Paradise, Calif. and one brother, Albert Oster of Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers. Casketbearers were Nathan Brinkmeyer, Nolan Lindemann, David Harr, Gary Oster, Lawrence Wolff and Henry Oster Jr. The organist was Mrs. Arnold J. Lapp, and a duet was sung by Mrs. Erma Goehring and Mrs. Priscilla Johnson
