Mrs. Chris Trautman Died Sat. A.M. –
The sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Chris Trautman, occurring at her home west of town last Saturday morning was a great shock to her many friends. Mrs. Trautman had been suffering from a bad cold and two weeks previously had suffered a severe injury to her knee when she fell upon a concrete floor. She had been bedfast on account of the injured knee, but apparently her condition was not serious. Her death came suddenly without warning. Funeral services conducted by Dr. R. A. White were held in the Trinity Lutheran church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A very large crowd attended, including relatives who came from Sutton and from Fremont. Burial was made in Hillside cemetery. The surviving family and relatives have the profound sympathy of the entire community. The death of Mrs. Trautman, following the recent death of her niece, Miss Berneice Klein, leaves a double sorrow with her family and relatives. (Owing to some added information to be secured, Mrs. Trautman's obituary is being held until next week for publication.)
