Å“Alfred C. Eaton and Miss Bertha E. Henshaw, both well known in this city, were quietly married at 10:30 this morning at the residence of Rev. Dr. H.M. Campbell of the First Presbyterian Church. Immediately after the ceremony the couple motored down to Monterey, where they have engaged a cottage for their honeymoon. Both are exceedingly prominent.
Å“Eaton will be remembered to residents of this city as the one who opened up and subdivided the Palm Haven district in San Jose. at the present time he is in no active but owns large mining intereests.Â
