Simon (Sam) Reiswig, 80, of 804 S. Garfield St. died early Saturday Morning in his home.
A native of Parkston, S.D., he grew up in Goodrich, N.D., where he farmed and later moving to Idaho for four years before coming to Lodi in 1924. A farmer here, he had been in semi-retirement for the past few years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Berths Reiswig of Lodi; two sons, Elmer and Clarence Reiswig of Lodi; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Steinert of Lodi, Mrs. Emma Brickert of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Mrs. Lydia Weisz of Pasco, Wash.; one brother, Albert Reiswig of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the California Farm Bureau.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Lodi Funeral Home with Elder A.F. Ruf officiating.
