Ronald H. Zimbelman, 87, Nixa, Mo., died May 7, 2008, in Cox Medical Center South. Mr. Zimbelman was a WWII veteran of European Theater with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He retired in 1975 from the Kansas Air National Guard following 32 years of service. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gary Zimbelman. Survivors include wife Dean (Walker) Zimbelman; daughter Linda Wewers and spouse Larry; stepdaughters Debbie Burns and spouse Larry, Susan Dunst and spouse Tom; stepson Kent Hubert; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m. May 9, 2008, in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, with burial following in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation is prior to services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
