James L. Denton, June 2, 1933-Feb. 15, 1998, James L. DENTON, 64, 6778 N. St., Monterey, formerly of Rochester, died 5:40 p.m. Sunday at his residence. Denton was born June 2. 1933 in Rochester to Herman and Dessic ZEMPLEMAN DENTON. He was a retired salesman and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War,, Rochester. Survivors include two daughters, Becky FORNELLI, Knox, and Linda ROTH, Burnettsvtlle; one son, Doug DENTON, Monterey: nine grandchildren; four sisters, Junie [DENTON], Seattle, Wash., Virginia [DENTON], Galveston, Irma [DENTON], Ohio, and Julia [DENTON], Wisconsin; two brothers Jack DENTON, Rochester, and Bob DENTON, Kewanna. He was preceded in death by one brother, William DENTON. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Frain Mortuary, 305 E. Main St., Winamac with Rev. Bert WOOLSON officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Citizens Cemetery, Kewanna. Graveside military services will be conducted by Winamac VFW Post 1728. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at Frain Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
