Arlie Reiser, 80, McClusky, died May 17, 2009, in a Turtle Lake hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky.
Arlie was born Dec. 28, 1928, at McClusky. He was the son of John A. and Gladys (Broeckel) Reiser. He grew up and attended school in McClusky. Arlie served in the Army from January 1951 and was honorably discharged in November 1952. He married Shirley Neff on Sept. 14, 1958, in Bismarck. They lived in McClusky.
He worked at the Co-op Creamery for a time before starting employment at McClusky Farmers Elevator. He retired in 1991. Arlie was a member of the VFW Post in Bismarck and he enjoyed fishing.
Arlie was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Robert Charles Reiser; and two sisters, Viola Heil and Marilyn Helm.
