Arrilla May O'Leary Zimbleman, 93, of Farmington, Ark., passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Fayetteville.
he was born July 12, 1918, in LuVerne, Iowa, to parents Albert Dally and Lucinda (Will) Dally.
She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Rigby of Farmington, Ark.; a son, Michael O'Leary and wife, Kathy, of Lenexa, Kan.; stepdaughter, Val Jean Schultz; stepson, Marvin Zimbleman and wife, Donna, of St. Francis, Kan.; stepson, Kenneth Zimbleman and wife, Susie, of Ozark, Mo.; sister, Charlotte Wickwar and husband, Bus, of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Donald Dally and wife, Evelyn, of Albany, Ga.; and brother-in-law, Dale Redding of Ashford, Ore.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Cheyenne County, Kan.

Her father died in the Civil War as a soldier. she grew to young womanhood in Missouri and was married to Joseph R.Dally, 8-22-1877 at Trenton, Mo. she and her husband lived in Missouri, Iowa ,Nebraska and Kansas, moving to Blue Rapids in 1892 to this union nine children were born, two having preceded her in death , Charles Dally who died 1906 and F.L. Dally, who died in 1939. those remaining to mourn her passing are Mrs. Amilla Downey, St. Joseph, Mo. Mrs. Mary Myers, Leedale,Canada Mrs. Margaret Padgett, Blue Rapids, Mrs. Nellie Ross, Los Angeles. Califoria, Mrs. Ada Weeks, Hutchinson,Kansas, Albert Dally, St.Francis, Kansas, Joseph R. Dally, Waterloo,Iowa ,Her husband passed away in 1896 leaving the mother to rear the children and to keep the home together. she was always equal to the task and gave herself unreservedly to her family .in 1912 she married Mr. Lafe Myers and lived on a farm southeast of Frankfort for 15 years until 1927. Mr Myers passed away in 1924. Mrs. Myers then lived out west until 2 years ago, when she made her home with her daughter in Blue Rapids.she was a member of the Methodist Church since her marriage in 1877. she was also a member of the Triple Tie Benefit Association, Besides her children she leaves 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren besides other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were directed by the Hill undertaking Co. and conducted at the Blue Rapids Methodist Church 3-21-in charge of the misister, Otis Bussart. Music led by Frank Marvin . Singers were Velma Kapitan, Marjorie Reinecke,Hiram Johnston and Delbert Kapitan. Pallbearers were Fooyd Brown, Harvey Hill, Ed Craft, James Shaw,Chas. Jenkins abd Fred Craft. interment was made in Prospect Hill Cemetery

Through death the community has lost one of its oldest pioneers -- Mrs. Ernestine Kay, who passed away on Jan 31, 1923, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 10 days, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles J. Max, 9618 Winston Ave.
Mrs. Kay was born in 1846 in Pomerania, Germany, and came to this country in 1867. Two years later she married the late Matthew Kay; this union being blessed with five children--Anna Max, Mary Will, Elizabeth Seitz, Helen Schaefer and Louis Kay.
Immediately following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Kay located on 95th St. near what is now Winston Ave.. Several years later Mr. Kay accepted the position of manager of the Morgan Farm situated in what is now Beverly Hills. A number of years later Mr. Kay built his home, which is still standing, at 96th St. and Winston Ave., to which he retired after selling a large farm which he had acquired near Sollitt, Ill.
Mrs. Kay was the oldest living member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 99th St. and Winston Ave., which she attended regularly until she was the victim of a paralytic stroke last November.
The beautiful array of flowers that accompanied her to her final resting place was evidence of the high esteem in which she was held by her many friends and neighbors. She was laid to rest on Feb. 3 at Mount Greenwood cemetery, the Rev. Mr. Hintz of the Zion Church of Roseland, officiating.

Hans Kay's parents were Hans Joachim Kay and Catharina Schuldt. He was born in Kopendorf which is on the island of Fehmarn.
When he was born, Fehmarn, a small island in the Baltic Sea off the eastern coast of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, was part of the Danish Duchy of Schleswig.
Hans Kay's first wife was Tebbel Margaretha Jansen with whom he had at least two childern: Johann Christian Kay and Hans Nicolaus Kay. She died June 12, 1836 in Kopendorf, and he married Anna Catharine Lafrenz Sep 9, 1836 in Petersdorf on the island of Fehmarn.
Hans and Anna Kay were the parents of the following children, all born on the island of Fehmarn: Tebbel Margaretha, Jacob Mattias, Ferdinand, Heinrich Frederick, Daniel Ferdinand, Johannes, Hans H., and Agnes Catharine.
