Shirley Auch, 81, of Pierre, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at St. Marys Hospital in Pierre.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. -2 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, at the Feigum Funeral Home in Pierre.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, at Feigum Funeral Home, with interment at Riverside Cemetery.
Shirley Salathe was born August 5, 1928, in rural Sully County to George and Verna (Beckett) Salathe. She attended Country School and later Harold High School, where she graduated.
She married Victor Auch on June 8, 1946. They moved to Chamberlain in 1955. Shirley started working at St. Joseph Indian School in 1957 and was employed there for 35 years.
After Shirley retired, she and her husband moved to Pierre to be with their grandkids. Shirley enjoyed her retirement and spending time with her grandkids.
Shirley is survived by her son, James Auch, of Pierre; daughter, Gerrie (Allen) Boone, of Aurora Colo.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Lorrie (Elmer) Maher, of Pierre; and brother, Jerald (Marlys) Salathe, of New York Mills, Minn.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor; grandson, Mike Boone; brother, Harold Salathe; and sister, Dot Winckler.

Shirley heiratete Auch, Victor am 8 Jun 1946. Victor (Sohn von Auch, William und Remboldt, Magdalene) wurde geboren am 19 Jul 1920; gestorben am 7 Jul 1996 in ,,, USA; wurde beigesetzt in Riverside Cemetery, Pierre, Hughes County, South Dakota, USA. [Familienblatt] [Familientafel]
